I have always been interested in the ways our bodies loudly talk to us, sometimes before we have the words to explain what is happening.
I started Finding Yoga with Nimu because I wanted people to understand that yoga isn't about perfection.
It is about becoming curious about your body rather than judgemental of it. What is it saying? What are you noticing? What happens when you slow down enough to listen?
That curiosity has shaped the way my work has grown. Yoga led me further into somatic practice, then into strength and conditioning, and into broader conversations through Unclench Your Jaw with Nimu.
For me, these aren't separate worlds. They offer different ways of understanding and supporting the whole person, building physical strength, becoming more aware of stored stress and patterns, and creating space to think, question and learn.
My training spans mental health, safeguarding, behaviour, yoga, somatic practice and physical conditioning.
Each strand adds another way of working with the whole person.
Creating space to notice sensation, patterns and stored stress without turning the body into something to fix.
Building physical strength, resilience and capability through purposeful movement and progressive challenge.
Sharing knowledge and exploring the wider conversations that shape how we understand ourselves and one another.
“The body is not something to perfect. It is something to become curious about.”
