This programme explores the relationship between lived experience and the body, with room for the complexity of protection, adaptation and change.
What the Body Carries
A somatic exploration of the things we hold, the ways we adapt, and what becomes possible when we get curious about the body's story.
Sometimes the body tells a story before we have words for it. A tightening jaw, a guarded chest, a tendency to brace, collapse, rush or stay ready. This work invites curiosity about those patterns without turning them into another reason to judge yourself.
What does it mean to carry something?
The intention is not to force release or manufacture a dramatic breakthrough. It is to notice, understand and experiment with different possibilities, at a pace that respects the person doing the work.
Not a checklist. A place to notice.
Notice
Begin with sensation, breath, movement and the body's present-moment signals.
Understand
